Where is the good in Goodbye?

For a while, I wondered why there's always sadness whenever we say goodbye. Goodbyes are never easy, where is the good in it? It's much more difficult especially if you have shared alot of
memorable and learning experience with the people you are to leave behind.
After sometime though, I came to realize, goodbyes can be good afterall. The place and time which seem to be the end may also be the beginning .The world is round isn't it?
Nothing makes the Earth so spacious as to have friends at a distance,so they say. As for me, I just
feel so lucky and blessed I have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.
......till we all meet again......
To Everybody that I have worked with and worked for at GES, and with a pure grateful heart and a
smile on my face , I say THANK YOU and I bid you GOODBYE.

Keep smiling and moving forward ALL!
LIZA

Farewell GES

Dear GES (Staff and students),

I am so thankful for all you have taught and given in earnest. It is my honor to have been a part of your education and your lives. There are too many memories that glow like gold in my mind to list. Saying goodbye has been so hard for me, so hard. Please know that I am not just some "Hello, Goodbye" English teacher. I will remember each and everyone of you for as long as I live. Because of the kindness you have expressed towards me, I can only say great things about the Japanese. Thank you for all of your letters and gifts and glacier melting smiles. You have made me happier than I can remember being and for that I am grateful. I promise to try my best to pay it forward and live a good life. No matter where I am or what I am doing, your memory will still be glowing like pure gold in my heart.

Thank you and Farewell,

Shayne Dahl
