出身地の気候について～Yareli先生

Hello everybody！

松阪・伊勢・津の英会話スクールGESのYareliです。
今日は私の出身地、メキシコのドゥランゴの気候についてお話します。私はメキシコの北部で生まれました。
乾燥した気候であり、日中は乾燥して暑く、夜は砂漠のように少し寒くなります。
メキシコには、雨季と乾季の2つの季節しかありません。
これらのタイプの天気は、ビーチに行くのに最適です。
ドゥランゴの人々がよく好んで訪れるスポットは、３時間ほどのドライブで行けるマサトランです。
とても美しいです！！！

メキシコの他にも私が育ったアメリカのミネソタ州についてもお話しします。

ミネソタ州の気候は、夏の５月から７月は高温多湿の大陸性気候になり、

冬の11月から３月は非常に寒くなります。

とても寒かったのですが、私はミネソタの寒い冬を満喫しました。
雪だるまや雪の天使を作って時間を過ごせるこの季節が、私は一番好きでした。

Hello everybody!

I will tell you about the climate where I’m from, Durango, Mexico. I was born in the northern part of Mexico which tends to have an arid climate, which means that it has a dry hot climate in the day and during the nights it tends to be cold a little similar to the desert. Mexico really only has two seasons, rainy and dry. These types of weather makes it excellent to go to the beach! A very popular place that people from Durango like to go to is Mazatlán. Sinaloa which is a 3 hour drive. It’s very beautiful!

Apart from telling you about Mexico, I will also tell you about where I was raised which is Minnesota, USA. The climate in Minnesota tends to have a humid continental climate which is hot and humid during the summer (May-July) and very harsh cold winters (November-March). I really enjoyed the cold winters of Minnesota. Even though they were very cold, it still was my favorite season! Being able to spend time making snowmen and snow angels!
