ハロウィーン・パーティーで子供たちが楽しんでいる姿を目の当たりにすると、いつも笑顔がこぼれます。

コロナがひどかったここ数年は対面でできませんでした。オンラインでのハロウィンパーティでは、会場は先生とスタッフ以外、誰もいなかった。子供たちはどこにいってしまったんだろう？

オンラインでも子ども達は楽しんでいましたが、ときどきフリーズしてしまうスクリーンの中で、ひとまとめになっていました。あの困難な時期が終わって本当によかった。トリック・オア・トリート、パレード、楽しいゲーム、そして一緒に歌うこと。

Seeing the children in person and enjoying themselves at our Halloween parties has always brought smiles to me. That came to a halt during the height of the pandemic. The room was empty, except for the teachers and staff. Where were the children? They were still enjoying themselves, but they were all lumped together on a small screen that froze at times. I am really glad those challenging times are over. Nothing beats enjoying together in person ~ trick or treating, parading, playing fun games, and singing together.
