梅雨は「つゆ」と呼ばれ、通常6月上旬から7月中旬まで続きます。この時期は、頻繁に降る穏やかな雨が特徴的で、緑豊かな風景が日本を包みます。湿気が続くのは大変なことですが、同時に日本の植物が持つ生き生きとした美しさを引き出してくれます。

梅雨の時期には、私の大好きなアジサイの花が咲き誇るので、いつもわくわくします。アジサイは青、ピンク、紫など様々な色合いの花を咲かせ、庭園や公園、お寺などで絵画のような風景を作り出します。湿度の高い気候がその色を引き立て、霧に包まれた背景にいっそう鮮やかに映えます。

この時期の日本の自然は、独特の儚い美しさを見せ、日本の季節のリズムと植物との微妙なバランスを浮き彫りにします。穏やかな雨の中で咲き誇る花の姿は、日本の美意識の静謐さと儚さを象徴しています。ここでは、私たちのかわいらしく魅力的な庭に咲く美しい花々の写真をご紹介します。どういたしまして！

Hello everyone, this is your teacher Liza from the Philippines with a blog about the rainy season in Japan.

It is known as “tsuyu” and it typically spans from early June to mid-July. This period is marked by frequent, gentle rain showers that envelop the country in a lush, verdant landscape. While the persistent moisture can be a challenge, it also brings out the vibrant beauty of Japan’s flora.

During tsuyu, I always get excited as my favorite flower, hydrangeas (ajisai) are particularly stunning. These flowers bloom in various hues of blue, pink, and purple, creating picturesque scenes in gardens, parks, and temples. The humid weather enhances their colors, making them appear even more vivid against the misty backdrop.

This period showcases a unique, ephemeral beauty in Japan’s natural landscape, highlighting the delicate balance between the country’s seasonal rhythms and its flora. The sight of blooming flowers under gentle rain epitomizes the serene and transient nature of Japanese aesthetics.
